The Stone House Group was awarded a contract with Princeton University to provide commissioning and MEP coordination services for the revered Firestone Library as part of a ten year master renovation plan. The Library holds over 14 million books, microforms, and manuscripts and is home to some of the greatest collections in the world. Renovations are underway to support modern library services while providing the proper environment for the famous collections housed there. The significance of the project surrounds the Library’s Rare Books and Special Collections department, ensuring environmental and security controls for preservation. The Stone House Group is currently providing full-time, on-site support at Princeton for multiple phases of the renovation.

Continuous SHG Involvement

The Stone House Group has also provided LEED commissioning services for Princeton’s Art Museum Storage Facility, as well as ASHRAE Level III Energy Audit for several buildings on campus. The Stone House Group continues to support the renovation efforts to Firestone Library.
