Our Role: Retro-Commissioning and ASHRAE Level II Energy Audit
The Philadelphia Zoo contracted The Stone House Group to perform retro-commissioning (RCx) and an ASHRAE Level II Energy Audit for several buildings on their campus in Philadelphia, PA: Penrose, Animal Hospital, Rare Animal Conservation Center (RACC), the adjoining Impala Café, and the Small Primate Holding proximate to the RACC. The scope of services included functional testing of energy-consuming systems and the development of an energy capital investment plan (ECIP) to assist in the long-term goals of improving occupant comfort and building energy performance.
